STRESZCZENIE: W ostatniej dekadzie nastąpił istotny postęp w leczeniu przewlekłej białaczki limfocytowej (PBL). W artykule omówiono najwaŜniejsze leki stosowane w PBL w monoterapii albo w leczeniu skojarzonym, takie jak, analogi puryn (fludarabina – F, kladrybina – 2-CDA i pentostatyna –P), cyklofosfamid (C) oraz przeciwciała monoklonalne: rituksimab (R) i alemtuzumab (A).

SUMMARY: There has been significant progress in the management of CLL in the last decade. The review summarises the most important agents that have emerged as useful for the treatment of CLL, used alone or in combination, including the purine analogues (fludarabine – F, cladribine – 2- CDA, and pentostatin – P), cyclophosphamide (C), as well as monoclonal antibodies: rituximab (R) and alemtuzumab (A).
