STRESZCZENIE: Artykuł zawiera informacje o strukturze i zakresie występowania chemokin oraz receptorów chemokin na wczesnych komórkach hematopoetyczych i na leukocytach. W artykule podkreślono znaczenie chemokiny SDF-1/CXCL12 i receptora CXCR4 w szpiku w procesach dojrzewania i migracji komórek CD34+. Ponadto omówiono udział chemokin w migracji limfocytów T w grasicy i limfocytów B w węzłach chłonnych, a także rolę chemokin w przebiegu ostrych i przewlekłych białaczek. Pokrótce wskazano na udział tzw. "HIV-related" chemokin w procesie wnikania do komórek CD4+ wirusa HIV.
SUMMARY: Article presents current data about the structure and distribution of chemokines and chemokine receptors on hematopoietic cells and on mature leukocytes. The significance of chemokine SDF-1/CXCL12 and its receptor CXCR4 in maturing and migration of CD34+ cells in bone marrow is determined. Moreaer, the role of chemokines in maturing and migration of T lymphocytes in the thymus as well as B cells in lymph nodes is described. The contribution of chemokines to the development of acute and chronic leukemias and the effect of ,,HIV-related" chemokines on HIV infection CD4+ cells are also discussed.
